Rev. Craig continues to deal with serious back problems - 3 bulging disks and spinal stenosis.
He will forego a likely unsuccessful surgery and will test for an electrical implat during the first week of February.

Dave Thrailkill‏, Amy's husband, has a hereditary disease called Famial Amyloidosis. A gene in his body causes his liver to produce too much protein. The protein attacks your lower extremities first, then moves up your body and eventually attacks your major organs. There is no cure or drug that stops the disease.  A liver transplant will stop the process if it's done early enough.  They are having tests now to see if he is a candidate for a liver transplant.  He has already experienced a lot pain and problems with his lower extremeties. Dave is on the liver transplant list.

Barb Miller is at Nikki's. Please keep her in prayer.

Sara Malott was nominated and selected to join the People to People Student Ambassador Program this summer. This program was established by President Dwight D. Eisenhower in the 1950s in hope that if people/students could come together with people from other cultures in peace, so then would countries. Sara will be traveling to London and Paris.

Sara’s tuition is $5,000.00 and part of her experience is fundraising for the trip.  To that end she will be collecting used ink cartridges and used cell phones, old PDAs, and the like to ship away for recycling.  Sara will get cash back from the recycling company.

Please bring in your old - useless - phones and cartridges and support SaraThere will be a collection box in the narthex.  Thanks for your support – anything you can do Sara greatly appreciates.  She loves to be part of a project that helps save the environment.
